Lecture by Randall Kober in Tokyo
MSoA Master Lecturer Randall Kober presented a talk entitled ‘hands, digits, tools, wood‘ at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts Department of Architecture on May 27th in Japan.
The presentation detailed the transfer and further development of knowledge that he gained in professional practice to a series of design build projects he has worked on with students at MSoA. This work explores the possibilities presented when deploying advanced digital technologies to the service of hybrid manual and machine craft to design and build experimental primarily wood structures.
