Student work on Kichitwaa Shwaandem (Heaven’s Gate Trail) featured in The Sudbury Star
McEwen School of Architecture student work on Kichitwaa Shwaandem, Heaven’s GateTrail, was recently featured in The Sudbury Star. The work, done in partnership with Ontario Parks and Sagamok, includes the design of a bridge and overnight shelters for the trail. The bridge will be the School’s first large-scale permanent design-build structure and construction is still underway with the hope to install the 16-metre span bridge sometime next year.
