McEwen School of Architecture Launches INHI-IIHN

In September, we celebrated the launch of the Institute for Northern Housing Innovation. An interdisciplinary research team drawing from architecture, engineering, computer sciences, and the social sciences, committed to addressing not only technical challenges of modern construction and sustainability, but also the social impacts of the housing crisis on families, education, children and the unhoused.

We are grateful for the support of our financial partners FedNor, Greater Sudbury Development Corporation, and the Desjardins Group who share our commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of people and communities across Northern Ontario.
