MSoA Advisory Board members awarded 2022 Governor General’s Medals in Architecture

The McEwen School if Architecture is proud to share that two members of the McEwen School of Architecture International Advisory board have been awarded the 2022 Governor General’s Medal in Architecture! Supported by the RAIC and the Canada Council for the Arts these Medals ‘represent the highest standards of the profession’.

Alfred Waugh, of Formline Architects, received the medal for the design of the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre in Vancouver, BC. To learn more about the project, please follow the link to the RAIC website.

MSoA Director, Dr.Tammy Gaber, representing the McEwen School of Architecture, attended the ceremonies at Governor General Mary Simon’s residence at Rideau hall in Ottawa. She brought back a copy of the awards book, which is now available at the MSoA library for those wishing to learn more about all 2022 recipients.
