Ice Stations Village 2022

The McEwen School of Architecture invites you to a warm-up event this Thursday Feb. 17 (4 pm to 6 pm) for the unveiling of the Ice Stations Village 2022 on Ramsey Lake, which will feature four Ice Stations designed and built by the MSoA 1st year students. The stations will be located on the ice path (three of them will be close to the former Sudbury Canoe Club and the fourth one will be further down the path), so bring your skates to fully enjoy and experience them! After the event, you can then join us for Ra’anaa Yaminah Brown’s virtual lecture.

The four Ice Stations which will be unveiled on that day are:

“Disrupting the Horizon” (Bruce Wrightsman’s group)
“The Passage” (Kemal Alladin’s group)
“Emerging Life” (Chris Baziw’s group)
“Fraglace” (Jean-Philippe Saucier’s FRENCH group)

The 2022 Ice Stations Village is sponsored in part by the City of Greater Sudbury, TD Bank, EACOM Timber Corporation, and Knowhere Public House. Thank you very much to our generous sponsors!
