Make a wood stool with a chisel and a robot 2023

The McEwen School of Architecture make a wood stool with a chisel and a robot workshop introduced 25 undergraduate Bachelor of Architectural Studies students to manual and digital fabrication tools and techniques through the design and production of a wood stool. Students used digital software, digital fabrication tools and manual wood tools to design/make a stool that they took home at the end of the workshop. The 25 wood stools created by the students were exhibited at the 2023 Sudbury Nuit Blanche.

The make a wood stool with a chisel and a robot workshop was funded by the The Business + Higher Education Roundtable.
